Kränzel Winery - 7 Gardens

In Cermes in the surroundings of Merano, you can discover the “Experience Kränzelhof” with its 7 Gardens

The 7 Gardens in Cermes in Merano and surroundings make part of the Kränzelhof, a marvellous Medieval manor, including a restaurant with wine house and wine-selling. On this 20,000 sqm large piece of land, these gardens were created some years ago. One of them - besides the Garden of Love, of Trust and the Yin and Yang Garden - is the Maze, or Labyrinth Garden, symbol of the human brain with its endless convolutions. Also events are offered, such as full moon meditation. The labyrinth wants to show that everyone might live in harmony with nature.

Among the target groups are obviously all nature lovers, those interested in culture and arts, wine enthusiasts, not to forget families and children, looking for an intellectual way of relaxation and inner harmony. If you are interested in spirituality you might want to discover and interpret the garden's astral principles. A particular place! On the site there is also a Garden Gallery, managed by the board of trustees "Kuratorium Kränzel". Guests can relax and calm down, artists have a place to exhibit their works, which can also be purchased via the court.

Part of this open-air gallery are mobile installations such as "4 Little Boxes" as well as "The Living Museum" with beautiful sculptures of local and international artists. The single areas flow into each other and invite to a special experience - the "Experience Kränzelhof"! And how to reach the Maze of the Kränzel Winery? It is located along the Via Merano road between the villages of Lana di Sopra and Cermes, and offers a parking space. During the festival "Lana in Bloom" in spring, the Kränzel Estate offers art exhibitions and activities such as Garden Yoga.
